In 2003, the young singer, Pitty launched a new album “Admirable New Chip” which belonged to the gloomy metallic wave. It was such a huge success in Brazil. That one of the numbers was included in New Wave, and won her the best prize of the year 2004.

She was lead singer in the band “Inkoma” a hardcore band which broke up in 2001. Pitty said that the sound of this band wasn’t brilliant, perhaps even coarse, but it allowed us to develop the sound of Axé as practised in its original form in the city São Salvador.

Although young, Pitty didn’t give up. She convinced two musicians, Peu a guitarist of the band Dois Sapos e Meio, and Duda the drummer of the Lisergia band, to produce the firat record and headed off to “Rio”.

This record was a musical summary of everything that she had going around in her head. But the words were the vision of what was happening in the world. It was a success.

In 2005 the new CD “Anacrónico” was released and was essentially the recording of her stage performances. As in the previous disc, the words were hers and also much of the music. They reflected her way of life; free from commitment. This is summed up in one of her songs called “Don’t leave anything for next week because it may not come”
